The greatest of all chamber music masterpieces, old and new, will be performed by a group of distinguished, award-winning artists including Colin Carr, cello; Christina Dahl, piano; Gilbert Kalish, piano; Ani Kavafian, violin; Katherine Murdock, viola; Chris Trakas, voice; and Carol Wincenc, flute. They have recorded on leading classical music labels as well as played concerts the world over. If these names sound familiar to you, it’s because in addition to their numerous accomplishments, they are also esteemed faculty members in Stony Brook’s Department of Music.
