The Emerson String Quartet is one of the world’s foremost chamber ensembles, and Stony Brook University is
honored to have its members as Quartet-in-Residence, coaching chamber music, giving master classes and
providing instrumental instruction.

Due to an injury, Lawrence Dutton, viola, of the Emerson String Quartet will not be performing in the October and November concerts
Joining members of the Emerson String Quartet will be Gilbert Kalish, pianist.
The evening’s program will include Mozart Divertimento for String Trio in Eb Major, K. 563 and Brahms Piano Quartet in g minor, op. 25.
