The Philadelphia Dance Company lights up the
stage with their blazing physicality and
dramatic programs emphasizing
innovative works by American
choreographers. One of America’s foremost
dance ensembles founded by Joan Myers Brown,
Philadanco has won unanimous critical praise both nationally
and internationally, and has been featured in concerts with the
Philadelphia Orchestra, the Duke Ellington Orchestra and other
world-renowned celebrity artists in major venues that include
Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, the American Dance Festival,
and internationally in Europe, Asia, United Kingdom and the
Caribbean. Enjoy an incredible evening of high-energy dance.
Also scheduled: a free pre-dance lecture at 7:00 pm in Staller’s Recital Hall.
